Last year Jay Z teamed up with several industry artists such as Nicki Minaj, J. Cole, Rihanna, Usher and Beyonce, to launch their own music streaming platform. At the time, it made since because it was giving them the chance to take back control of their own music. Unfortunately, the payoff and the payout hasn’t reflected the mission.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Jay Z apparently lost $28 miiiiiilllliiiooonnn last year with TIDAL! The service that was suppose provide a better quality of music and better overall experience, as well as, pay more dollars to artists. ¬†After a short year and a half of business, it looks like this business venture is becoming more of a burden than a blessing. The rumor on the street now, is that he may be leaning towards selling to Apple. For now that’s just a rumor, but I’m sure we will all soon find out!

E for effort anywho J
