Gene Wilder, Star Of ‘Willy Wonka’ Dies At 83

Gene Wilder, The star of “Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory” has passed away at the age of 83, according to The Associated Press.

Wilder is best known for his roles in, “Young Frankenstein,” “Stir Crazy,” and, “The Producers.” He was nominated for two Oscars for his roles in “The Producers” and “Young Frankenstein.”

Variety reports, the movie icon’s nephew Jordan Walker-Pearlman said he died late Sunday of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. Wilder was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 1989, but his health dramatically deteriorated over the last few years.
