When it comes time for proposing, you want it to be the best and make it memorable. That’s what Josh Schmitz of Chicago did. Josh had been dating his girlfriend for a year and he knew she was the one, so he came up with a brilliant idea to propose to his girlfriend. He decided to record a video with a simple message on a white board and document each day of their lives together for a year. He was inspired by their tradition of leaving each other notes. Each morning, Josh writes a little note to his girlfriend so she could have something nice to wake up to, since he leaves for work early. Last Friday Josh surprised her with the proposal at a made up party that he and his friends came up with. He played the video that he created and then after the video was done he was down on one knee with the same white board and it had two words “Yes” And “Maybe” with a checkbox next to each word.
