Fans of Harry Potter are in luck. If you own the first edition copy of Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone, it could be worth thousands of dollars thanks to a typo that appears in the novel. Not every copy of the novel has the typo in it. The misprint only exists in 500 hardback copies of the book.
You may be thinking to yourself, know I have to go back and reread the entire novel to see if the typo exists in the book I own. To save you time from having to reread the entire book, the typo lies within a passage on page 53 in which “1 wand” is repeated twice in a list of supplies first-year wizards are expected to bring with them to Hogwarts, as reported by the Independent. Good luck in trying to find the typo in your Harry Potter novel.
