I don’t know about you but I’m pumped for the Rio Olympics! The opening ceremonies are on Friday but Brazilian athletes keep dropping the Olympic torch. It’s happening so often that I’m not sure if the flame is going to make it to Rio or not.
If you didn’t know every 4 years the Olympic torch is run by athletes and elected ambassadors around major cities. And this year is no different except for one thing. People keep dropping the torch after running over potholes, slipping on oil or being ambushed by a hater with a fire extinguisher. Don’t laugh because these falls look like they hurt. But I gotta ask, what the heck is going on over there? Do we need to bubble wrap the torch? Should we start the movement? Take a look.
Don’t miss the Olympic Opening Ceremonies on Friday 8/5 at 6:30pm CST on NBC.
