Her 17-year-old son accidentally brought a beer to school when he discovered that he had that beer he turned it over to his teacher. The teacher then took it to the principal and the principal suspended her son and he is now going to attended an alternative school for 60 days.
I called Christi last night after I saw her story on the news to get to the bottom of it. As I was talking to Christi she told me that she watched her son pack his lunch and that it truly was an accident. She believes with the school’s no-tolerance policy that he should have been suspended and maybe a week at an alternative school. She doesn’t want her child not walk away with no punishment because he obviously broken the rules.
