Philip Seymour Hoffman died at the age of 46 from an apparent heroin drug overdose. How will his death affect the “Hunger Games” franchise where he played head gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee. How will his death affect the movies?

Hoffman was finished filming “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1″ and had about seven days left on “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″.

“Hunger Games” producers say Hoffman had one “major, emotional” scene left to film for the last movie but they’ll be able to work around that and still deliver a movie that’s, quote, “creatively whole.”
