It’s been a memorable and remarkable week for Houston restaurant server Michael Garcia. Garcia who works as a server at Laurenzo’s Prime Rib in Houston has been praised for taking a stand against a patron who took issue with a child who has Down’s syndrome.
Kim Castillo, who is a regular patron of Laurenzo’s Prime Rib was there with her 5-year-old son, Milo, who has Down’s syndrome. Despite his setbacks, and his ability to formulate words, young Milo was joyously sharing with his family some new words to the wait staff and talking about his birthday he had just had.
