New mom Jessica Simpson is not only celebrating the joys of motherhood but also her more toned and svelte body. It’s been approximately six months since Simpson welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew with fiancé Eric Johnson and now Simpson is celebrating her weight loss of 60 lbs.

Sporting denim jeans with a pink blazer, 32-year-old Simpson showed off her new body at at a Tampa, Florida event for her fashion line, the “Jessica Simpson Collection.”

Simpson admits that getting back into shape after having her daughter was indeed a task she took seriously. For the new mom, it meant not giving into her reported pregnancy craving of macaroni and cheese.

Simpson also admitted that her body “is not bouncing back like a supermodel,” she told media outlets in September as she focused on improving her shape and losing weight after having given birth. She also refers to herself as an everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiancé and herself.”
