PK’s mother left him when he was ten and his father took over. In Greece, if your parents are divorced the father takes the son at 10. PK hasn’t talked to her since that day.

Sarah: My dad left when I was six-years-old and didn’t talk to him for years. It wasn’t until my brother died unexpectedly that I knew that life was too short. He always financially supported his children so I gave him a second chance.

Ivan: Never met his real father and has no idea where he is.
