The McKinley High students are heading back to Nationals and looking for the big win. Tonight’s two-hour episode, featuring Lindsay Lohan and Perez Hilton, is jam-packed with music from Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Jason Mraz and not one, but two songs from Celine Dion.
The first half of the show has the Glee kids pulling a Freak Friday and switching bodies after Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) gets a nasty bump on the head. Puck (Mark Salling) becomes Blaine (Darren Criss). Finn (Cory Montieth) becomes Kurt (Chris Colfer). Tina becomes Rachel (Lea Michele) and the two ladies perform “What A Feeling” from Flashdance. Puck and Coach Beiste (Dot-Marie Jones) take on the haters in Swift’s “Mean,” but the team brings the positive vibes on Mraz’s “I Won’t Give Up” and “Because You Loved Me” by Dion.
Once everyone’s back in the right body, the team heads to Nationals where one bad burrito leaves them worried they’ll have to wait another year for the title. The competition is pretty fierce with the Trouble Tones singing Gaga’s “Edge of Glory” and their rival, Vocal Adrenaline, doing Nicki Minaj’s“Starships.” But New Directions brings it with Meatloaf’s classic “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” and “Tongue Tied” by Grouplove.
Will judges Lindsay and Perez crown them the winners? Well, if the team’s performance of Queen’s “We Are The Champions” is any indication, there might be some celebrating going on.
Check out a few sneak peeks from the double episode, along with a look at Rachel and Tina doing “What A Feeling” and Vocal Adrenaline’s version of “Starships” below.
