Well, we are down to the FINAL TWO! Who’s it gonna be tonight?? Crystal Bowersox or Lee Dewyze as your Season 9 American Idol?! After last night’s perfomances, hear what Kelly Kelly and Ruben Dominguez of KRIV Fox 26 had to say this morning!
Each contestant sang 3 songs last night, and it was obvious even after the first round who the front runner was. The judges were completely “Team Bowersox” last night, but I’m still rooting for the underdog! (or as Randy Jackson would say it, under-DAWG!) Go “Team Dewyze“!
It’s been a close competition with these two for the past few weeks, and last night they performed the songs that would be released as singles if they won.
Lee chose [lastfm]U2[/lastfm]‘s “Beautiful Day” and sang it great! Only problem is, it’s a [lastfm]U2[/lastfm] song! Hello! It’s like trying to sing [lastfm]Mariah Carey[/lastfm], or [lastfm]Whitney Houston[/lastfm]…very tough to do in a competition like this. Crystal chose “Up To The Mountain” which was praised by the judges, and I must admit–it was the best performance of the night. She nailed it!
